Privacy Policy
Effective: March 2026
Memory Forge is operated by Memory Forge LLC. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete it. We keep things simple because we collect very little.
Information We Collect
When you create an account or use Memory Forge, we may collect your email address and password (passwords are hashed — we never store or see your actual password), child profile information you provide such as name, age, and interests, lesson content generated through the platform, and email addresses submitted through our contact or waitlist forms.
We do not collect information beyond what is listed above. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party ad networks, or sell data to anyone.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate Memory Forge and deliver the service you signed up for. Account credentials authenticate your access and keep your data private. Child profile data personalizes lesson generation and tracks learning progress. Lesson content is stored so you can access it across sessions. Email addresses allow us to communicate account-related information and, if you opt in, product updates.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Memory Forge — for things like hosting, authentication, payment processing, and email handling. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function. We do not share your information with anyone beyond what is required to deliver the service, and we choose providers with strong data protection practices.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Full stop.
Children's Privacy
Memory Forge is a tool for parents. Children do not create accounts, log in, or interact with the platform directly. All child-related data — names, ages, interests, and learning history — is entered and managed by the parent through their own account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data and all associated child profiles within 30 days. Generated lesson content may be retained in anonymized form for service improvement purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information entrusted to us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of Memory Forge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
